Close encounter with a pair of Great Blue Herons

While fishing the banks of the Cowlitz River at the Barrier Dam this morning a pair of Great Blue Herons flew in. One seems to be a juvenile (it is the one that stretches up his neck looking at me) and the other an adult (the grumpy looking one). Click on a photo thumbnail to bring up the gallery.
