Get Out of the Rain, Head to Book ‘n’ Brush

The Book ‘n’ Brush in historic downtown Chehalis will host two book signing events this week, Friday and Saturday afternoons.

Prolific local author Chief Roy Wilson of the Cowlitz Tribe will join Vic Kucera, author of “Onalaska” and his latest release, “Alpha,” on Friday, June 1, from 3 to 6 p.m., at the Book ‘n’ Brush in Chehalis.

Saturday, June 2, from noon to 2 p.m., several authors will join local history sleuth and respected authority Julie McDonald-Zander (who penned “Chehalis” and numerous others), including Sherrie Bond (“Land Called Lewis”), Lori Babler (“Horses and Me”), Sherrie Bond (“Beauty and the Beak”), Joseph Brassey (a recent Centralia HS graduate and co-author of “The Mongoliad”), Alicia LeDuc (“Bravery on A Bus”), Catherine Levison (“No One Ever Asked Me That Before”), Linda Benson (author of numerous children’s book including “The Horse Jar” and “Finding Chance”), Sally Sweeney (“Hayseed” and “Tunnel Stiffs”), Trevor White (“Distortions”) and children’s book illustrator Leslie Gammelgaard.
